On Friday December 19th TB. 27 proceeded with MTB. 10 from Aberdeen Harbour at about 0900 to destroy enemy landing craft reported to be crossing Hongkong harbour. western entrance of Aberdeen Harbour MTB. 10 returned to H.H.S. ROBIN owing to engine trouble and I followed as ordered.

We proceeded at about 0940 and at about 0950 when off Mt. Davis MTB 11 approached us from Sulphur Channel and

I reduced speed to dead slow in order to receive both these signals; whilst receiving them an enemy aircraft was observed making a dive bombing attack on MTB 11 and I opened fire on it.
